About Dear Johannesburg

This is a love story. It's a collection of letters from a young South African man who grew up on the coast but travels to Johannesburg to seek his fortune. While in the City of Gold he falls in love - with the city itself. He knows from the beginning that their love is destined to fail but he can't help himself and in his desperation ends up penning anonymous letters to her. It is fruitless as the city is too big, too unforgiving, too aloof. He won't stop however, the love is too strong.
